Willie Nile’s “The Great Yellow Light” is already receiving great reviews in advance of its official release on June 20th.
Today, Little Steven’s Underground Garage announced “An Irish Goodbye” (featuring Paul Brady) as the “Coolest Song in the World.” Heartfelt thanks to Steven Van Zandt for this honor.

The first single, “We Are, We Are” is now available on your favorite streaming platform, and will have its video premiere on Twangville on Wednesday, June 25th.

Dear Friends and Fans,
The band and I are in the process of making a new studio album. It’s been over three and a half years since the last one and I’m over the moon about how it’s coming along. The band is on fire and we’ve got a great new collection of songs.
The album will be released on my own independent label and we’re doing a fan fund with incentives to raise money to help pay for studio costs, manufacturing, shipping, promotion, etc. Whatever you can do to help would be greatly appreciated and your support makes it possible to bring this album to life.
Some of the incentives include signed copies of the CD and vinyl, exclusive merch, handwritten lyrics, your name with special thanks in the liner note, Greenwich Village tour of my neighborhood, personal house concerts, being an Executive or Associate Producer, etc.
Please note, for those who want their names included in the "Special Thanks" in the liner notes or want to be an Executive or Associate Producer, there is a deadline of Friday, February 21, since we need to get all the artwork and credits for the album to the printer.
I can’t wait for you to hear the new songs and am deeply grateful for whatever you can do to help and be a part of it.
With heartfelt thanks and love,
Willie Nile

Due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts James Stevenson and Smiley Barnard are now unable to join Willie for the shows in England.
After much shuffling of cards, papers and schedules – and holding up the occasional bank – we are delighted to announce that we are now able to bring Willie’s New York City band for 3 shows in England! Featuring Johnny Pisano on Bass, Jimi K Bones on Guitar and Jon Weber on Drums - these guys have played together in Willie’s band for many years and really know how to rock! Edinburgh lineup remains unchanged featuring Johnny Pisano on Bass with local legends Rab Howat on Guitar and Ali Wilson in Drums!
This is going to be a great tour! Get ready!!
